Vy is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist and member of Speech Pathology Australia based in Sydney, Australia, with a special interest in early intervention, speech sound disorders, literacy and language intervention.
Her practice is guided by the value in building meaningful connections with others and understanding the unique needs of each individual. She is passionate about neurodiverse-affirming practice and empowering families and significant others with education and strategies to support their child beyond the therapy space.
Vy has experience in supporting children and adults with Global Developmental Delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disability, and other genetic and neurodevelopmental disorders. Her approach to therapy is compassionate, creative and child-centred.
Vy is a graduate of the University of Technology Sydney and has undertaken professional development in DIR Floor time, Sounds Write, sensory processing and speech sound disorders. Vy has a background in biomedical science and international studies, and speaks English, Vietnamese and Spanish.
Outside of her professional life, Vy enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new places and activities in and out of NSW, music, and being with her friends and family.
