Paediatric Cardiologist

Jon is a Paediatric and fetal Cardiologist with appointments at both The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Sydney’s Children’s Hospital. Jon has over 10 years’ experience as a Staff specialist specializing in complex congenital heart conditions and ultrasound imaging of the heart (echocardiography). Jon undertook his general paediatric training in Southampton in the UK before specializing in paediatric cardiology.
Jon has worked at some of the leading centres in the UK and internationally including Bristol (UK) and as a specialized imaging fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids, Toronto, Canada). Jon is the current Co-lead for the NSW fetal cardiology programme at Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. In this role he is able to deliver specialist imaging of the fetal heart and provide families with early counselling regarding their baby’s heart condition. This allows him to provide family centred care for children born with structural heart conditions or childhood onset cardiac conditions.
